Ideal for men and women who want to resolve their hair loss through hair transplantation, with minimal downtime and natural results. Dr. Miller is committed to producing the most aesthetically pleasing and technically advanced results with his FUE hair transplant procedure.
Based on his years of experience in the hair restoration field, Dr. Miller has custom designed a modified NeoGraft technique to remove the balding resistant hair follicles from the back of the scalp. The back and sides of the head are the ideal donor sites due to the healthier hair follicles in these areas and because they are immune to DHT (a hormone that kills hair follicles). Always utilizing state-of-the-art work, Dr. Miller’s method was developed to ensure the highest percentage of hair re-growth in the transplanted follicles.
FUE requires no scalpel incision, allowing for essentially no detectable donor site scarring. Once extracted, the hair follicles are transplanted to the recipient site where hair loss or balding is present. Grafting sessions are intended to replace lost hair or thicken a thinning hairline. Follicular units are placed hair-by-hair where re-growth is desired. FUE is the least invasive of hair restoration procedures.
PRP Hair Restoration
PRP therapy for hair loss is a treatment that involves withdrawing a patient's own blood, processing it so that only the enriched cells (platelet-rich plasma) remain, and injecting it into the scalp. PRP contains essential proteins that stimulate natural hair growth. The treatment can also be combined with hair transplant surgery, microneedling, or medications such as Propecia or Minoxidil.
Blood is drawn in our office as though you are having routine blood testing at your primary care doctor’s office. The blood is spun in a centrifuge and the PRP is separated and removed from the rest of the blood. A cooling device is used to block nerves of the scalp so the patient does feel any discomfort. Afterwards, the highly concentrated platelet rich plasma (PRP) is injected into the scalp.
PRP is safe and natural because the procedure concentrates the good cells from your own blood and injects them directly back into the area where it is needed. There is absolutely no chance of getting a blood infection from another human being. PRP involves using your own cells that are not modified or changed, and it will not be rejected by your immune system.
